For a research consortium led by Frankfurt Consulting Engineers and StoneOne, Imrecke Consulting GmbH advises mathematicians and quantum computing experts on shipping and environmental issues. This project is part of the research project PlanQK (platform and ecosystem for quantum-assisted artificial intelligence) supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and focuses on route optimization for just-in-time navigation, as demanded by the International Maritime Organization (IMO)  as a contribution to achieve the 2030 and 2050 climate targets. The „DVZ - Deutsche Verkehrs Zeitung“ published an article about the project on 04th August 2021.
